CHAPTER 18
Report a Concern
Any person may report a suspected breach of the Statute in confidence: the operation of a prohibited or uncertified AI system, a breach of certification conditions, falsified audit evidence, or retaliation against a person who has reported. Protected disclosures are handled under Chapter 18 of the Statute.
The Statute protects those who report. The identity of a reporting person is kept confidential, retaliation against a protected person is itself a breach subject to enforcement, and protection does not depend on employment relationship, nationality or location.
If you are reporting an event in which an AI system has caused or risked harm, use the Report an Incident channel instead.
SUBMISSION
Before you submit
Describe the conduct as concretely as you can: what happened, who was involved, over what period. You do not need to establish the legal classification; the categories below help route your report, and the competent service determines the rest.
You may submit anonymously. Providing a contact address is optional and allows IRBAI to seek clarification and to extend protection measures under Chapter 18 where needed.
Do not include documents at this stage. Where evidence exists, note it in the form; a secure channel is provided for transfer once the report is under assessment.
Personal data submitted through this form is processed in line with the Privacy Policy. Knowingly false reports may themselves constitute a breach of the Statute.
